You might be thinking my training scheule so far is pretty weak and you would be right! But, you have to consider that my first "event" will be a 200K brevet at the end of April - 6 months from now. I am already riding 100kms on my new bike and ending with lots of energy. I could pretty much ride a 200K tomorrow, so there is no point getting too crazy with my training program. All I need to do is continue to get comfortable with my bike and improve my speed on the hills. Fine tuning my gear and fuel/hydration needs will be a nice bonus.
