I've had my Polar RS200 for about 13 months. It has worked well for me all this time with one snafu in terms of using it for long brevets. Well the screen went dim. I first thought it was in need of a new battery, but only part of screen [the centre] went dim. The edges are more or less normal and the RS200 has a low battery indicator which has not come on. The warranty is 24 months so I took it back to the running shop where I bought it and it is on its way to a Polar repair centre. The good news is they'll either fix it or replace it with a new model. Either way I'll be happy to have it back.
