Well it has been a month and my Taifun has become my go to bike for pretty much all my riding these days.
To celebrate I threw on some BB7's to replace the stock Tektro discs.
I have a set of the original Avid mechanical disc brakes on a mtn bike and they are still going strong 6yrs+ later.

I love my advids too,today I pulled a nice FAST rear wheel skid to slide away from a van that cut me off and the van almost hit a bunch of peds too .... I would have crashed if I was on the Giro, disc's rule
