Apparently the Travel Agent changes the amount of cable pull of the bar end shifter to match what is required for the IGH - cool...=-) Click here for more info.

Nah, they didn't come up with the idea. They saw it elsewhere and did a better job blogging it.
Regardless, it's a nice option to have. A Nexus-8 compatible downtube shifter would be my choice.
