Actually I took a rusty old MTB that was a bit too small for me and my BOB trailer. Worked really well for riding around Black Rock City and around the open playa. I left it unlocked the whole time with no troubles and more importantly no worries.
I did see quite a few bents and I'll throw a post up this weekend about that.
