Thanks for posting that Vik. That's a great blog she has there. I added a note to it. Photos of the Parkway always bring the memories flooding back for me. Perhaps I'll do a winter Parkway trip this year.
Once when I was cycling between Lake Louise and Banff with my head down and not in a care in the world I T-boned an elk and knocked it over. That was one of my weirder cycling moments.
Wow a winter bike tour in the mtns - that's pretty hardcore! At least the elk should stand out fairly well against the white snow...making them harder to hit...=-)
